Abstract
Ignacio O´Farrill, 82, presbítero, soltero, de la Habana, vecino de Madruga, Matanzas. Hijo legítimo del Coronel Juan O´Farrill y de Luisa Herrera, testa a favor de Gabriel José Valdés, Francisco Valdés, Rafael Valdés, Joaquín de Sousa Cristo, como Marido de Josefa Valdés, María de la Merced y Bárbara Valdés. En representación de los menores hijos de Ignacio Valdés, difunto, declara curador a Francisco Valdés heredero intesto como esposo de Dolores Valdés y Rafael Valdés en representación de su esposa María del Carmen Valdés.

4 de octubre de 1838. Antonio Buitrago, informa del fallecimiento bajo testamentaria por ante el escribano Antonio Casimiro Méndez. El presbítero Fermín Martínez de Eguía, Teniente Cura Coadjutor, Iglesia de San Luis de Madruga, da sepultura a Ignacio O´Farrill, Capellán, quien murió ayer. Fermín Martínez, mediante declaración jurada, solicita que se abra el testamento y proceda a cumplir requisitos y solemnidades legales y a examinar la declaración y firmas de los testigos. Los testigos informan que Francisco de León ha fallecido y que Vicente Millet y Ramón Abreu no comparecerán por enfermedad.

Rafael Valdés. 2. Joaquín de Sousa Cristo, marido de Josefa Valdés también presente. 3. María de la Merced y Bárbara Valdés y en representación de los menores hijos de Ignacio Valdés, difunto, de curador a Francisco Valdés, siendo este último heredero intesto como esposo de Dolores Valdés. 4. Rafael Valdés y su esposa María del Carmen Valdés.
Inventario del cafetal Viajacay, tierras, anexos, viviendas, molinos, almacenes, chiqueros, bohíos, palomares, conejeras, campanario, sus cercados, estado y usos de cada uno.

El Sr. Capitán Pedáneo del Partido de Tapaste a petición Sr. Gabriel Valdés como albacea del difunto Presbítero Ignacio O´Farrill mancomunado con el Sr. Francisco Valdés, su hermano, y mediante el poder que este le tiene conferido ante el pedáneo de Madruga nombró por testigos a Pedro Álvarez, Galo Esteban y Joaquín Hernández de este vecindario se procedió a inventariar este ingenio en el orden que sigue.
