Note
Patrick Doherty arrived in Cuba from New Orleans in 1840. He was a mechanic and was driving the Havana-Bejucal train when it crashed. Accused of negligence he spent 2 years in prison. He returned to Ireland c. 1867 and bought land in Clonmany. His descendants live on this land today.
