Typescript (computer offprint) essay (no author) dealing with the Derry March of 5 October 1968, discussing the event, its background and implications, including four photographs; also listing chronology of events from February 1967 to 11 December 1968; structured bibliography (latest publication 1997). Arguing this march spelled the beginning of 'The Troubles', and pointing to press coverage which alerted many in UK and the Republic to a situation not well understood until then. (With caption by [Éamonn Downey] 'on computer'.)
