This was a carpark , on a rough surface, outside the old Microbiology prefabs, on the road leading to the former Irish Metal Industries (IMI) factory where the Martin Ryan Building (now part of the Ryan Institute) was soon to be erected.. The view is towards the Canal, and part of the stairway into this prefab is visible at the left. The car nearest to us is a Wolseley Hornet.
