Description
The Clinical Science Institute is located on the grounds of University College Hospital, Galway. The Hospital, being designated as a 'teaching institution', the local authority was required to provide research facilities. The resulting institute was officially opened by the then Taoiseach, Mr Albert Reynolds in 1992.
